Candy is a healing item in Rule of Rose. Although the term can be used to refer to any sugary confectionary, the ones that Jennifer encounters in the Airship and Orphanage are an unnamed type of hard candy.

Description

These round hard candies are said to be mouthwatering and come in a pretty packaging. It is possible that these confectionaries originally came as part of a larger package, which, unlike the Biscuit Tin, was never found in any of the Airship or Orphanage chapters. Jennifer may have held onto them as a last resort healing item to conserve more valuable ones or for when she ran out of Biscuits.

Characteristics

Candy is arguably the worst healing item in the game in terms of its overall healing capability. Its value to the player may be limited due to the fact that Jennifer can only carry up to twelve items in her Inventory at any given time. Apart from achieving a completionist playthrough, the only other reason why the player should be holding onto them is to conserve more powerful healing items, such as White Chocolate or Shortbread, There really is no need to keep so many of them in the Inventory, so try to stockpile them in the Rubbish Bin.

Jennifer can also obtain Candy if she donates Chocolate to the Gift Box.
