Peter's Droppings is a Quest Item in Rule of Rose. These droppings are the feces of Peter, an albino rabbit who is the focus of the "Sir Peter" chapter.
Description[]
After locating Amanda and discovering that Peter went missing, Jennifer and Brown are forced to track down the rabbit. Tracking the rabbit to the Filth Room inside the Sector 8 Cargo Bay, Jennifer and Brown were unable to capture Peter there, resulting in them chasing after the rabbit across the Airship. The only way to stay in pursuit was a sackcloth bag of droppings that belonged to Peter, which had been left behind inside the Filth Room.
Purpose[]
Since Peter cannot be followed in-game through normal means, the only way to go after the rabbit is by having Brown search for him with his droppings. By assigning Peter's Droppings to the Find Slot and issuing the Search command, Brown will be able to help Jennifer follow Peter's trail as he makes his way around the Airship.
Symbolism[]
The droppings were found in the Filth Room, which is the Airship equivalent to Jennifer's room in the Orphanage. Given that much of the Airship is based on locations throughout the Orphanage, their presence inside the Filth Room could signify Jennifer was the one charged to clean Peter's dropping. They could even imply that Peter's droppings may have been used at one point by the orphans to bully Jennifer.
