The Airship Map is a map found in the second chapter of Rule of Rose, "The Unlucky Clover Field." It can be retrieved inside the Backup Parts Room, which can be accessed from the western corridor of the Sector 9 Turbine Area. Obtaining the map will allow Jennifer to navigate around the Airship. The map may be accessed at any time upon its retrieval.
Inside the Backup Parts Room, the map will be found on the table next to the doorway.
Description[]
A cartographical document depicting the entirety of the Airship. It will show Jennifer's location inside the Airship. If Brown is accompanying Jennifer, his location will be also shown on the map as well. The Airship is split into three decks: the Lower Deck, the Central Stairway, and the Upper Deck.
- The Lower Deck is the largest and longest section of the Airship. It spans from the Boarding Gate at the bow to the Stern Observation Room at the tail. Passengers aboard the Airship would travel to the Upper Deck along the corridors on the port side, whilst the starboard corridors were reserved for the Airship crew.
- The Middeck is where the superstructure of the Airship is housed, combining the Upper and Lower Decks into a single hull. In addition to lifts allowing access to the roof of the Airship, this Middeck is split into four Central Stairways that can only be accessed from the Lower Deck.
- The Upper Deck is where passengers resided during their stay on the Airship. The western half of the Upper Deck is reserved for First Class passengers, the eastern half for those flying in Coach or Economy Class.
There are some limitations associated with relying on the Airship Map, however. The Airship Map does not relay the locations of any known items that Brown may have detected whilst searching for them. It does not document the locations of any Imps around the Airship, nor does it provide directions on where the player should go next. It also does not reveal the locations of the Bucket Knight, the Rubbish Bin or any characters aside from Jennifer and Brown. The player will be expected to document those locations.
