The Broken Robots are items that must be found to unlock the Rag Doll costume. There are 4 in total located throughout the stairways. Note that in order to find them, Brown should be somewhat close to them.
Jennifer can donate 3 to the Gift Box for a Minced Pie, and she will not lose the costume doing so. Broken Robots also have Minced Pie as a find target.
